• “Personal Data”: information related to an identified or personally identifying natural person.
• “Sensitive Personal Data”: personal data concerning race or ethnic origin, religious conviction, political opinion, membership of a union or religious, philosophical or political organization, data concerning health or sex life, genetic or biometric data, when linked to a natural person.
• “Data Subject”: natural person to whom the personal data is being processed.
• “Processing”: any operation carried out with personal data, such as those relating to the data collection, production, reception, classification, use, access, reproduction, transmission, distribution, processing, archiving, data storage, elimination, evaluation or control, modification, communication, transfer, dissemination or extraction.
• “Controller”: a natural or legal person, whether governed by public or private law, who is responsible for decisions relating to the processing of personal data.
• “Operator”: natural or legal person, governed by public or private law, who carries out the processing of personal data on behalf of the controller.
• “Person in charge”: a person designated by the controller and operator to act as a channel of communication between the controller, the data subjects and the National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).

We collect Personal Data exclusively to fulfill the specific purpose for which you have provided your Personal Data, or for whom you are legally responsible, including complying with the legal obligations to register each activity. These purposes include:

Data related to the registration of the student, senior citizen or member:

Name, telephone number, e-mail, address and other necessary data including registration with public authorities when required;

Data related to the customer’s registration:

Name, social security number, address, e-mail and other mandatory data for contracting the services or the activity contracted, including sending the information to the bank to process the payment forms and public authorities to register the Electronic Service Tax Receipts and other public regulating authorities;

Data related to employees:
Name, social security number, address, e-mail and other mandatory data for hiring employees and registering them with public regulatory authorities.

Users’ personal data is stored in systems maintained by Sociedade Humboldt de Beneficência for as long as it is necessary to achieve the purposes of the contract or when we are obliged to keep it for legal reasons. Otherwise, we will remove them. In accordance with Article 15(I) and 16 of Law 13.709/18.

Data may be removed at the user’s request, except in cases in which it is necessary for the controlled company to fulfill a legal or regulatory obligation, in which case the request will be denied with formalized justification.

It should be pointed out that the company has partners who provide Information Technology services to host services and content digitally, providing operational-technical support and secure cloud data storage and management resources. Therefore, we will save and process your Personal Data on platforms of other partners, which may be located in Brazil or abroad, respecting procedures that guarantee the protection of your personal data, the integrity, security and confidentiality of data processes.

The personal data collected, as well as other information, may be saved, processed and used for the following purposes:

• Provide the services, contracts, participations and subscriptions requested;
• Attend the data requested by local, state and federal authorities in order to supervise the services and contracts provided. The personal data held is treated confidentially, in accordance with the law. However, we may share your personal information if we are obliged to do so by law or at the request of an authority with specific authority to do so.

The data subject is any natural person to whom the data processed refers to. According to art. 18 of the LGPD, the data owner is guaranteed the rights to:

• confirmation of the existence of processing;
• access to data;
• correction of incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data;
• anonymization, deletion or elimination of unnecessary, excessive or processed data that does not comply with the provisions of the LGPD;
• Data portability to another service or product provider, on a specific request, in accordance with the regulations of the National Authority, respecting commercial and industrial secrets;
• deletion of personal data processed with the owner’s agreement, except in the cases established in art. 16 of the Law;
• information from public and private organizations shared by the Controller;
• information about the possibility of not agreeing and the consequences of its refusal;
• Withdrawal of agreement, under the terms of §5 of art. 8 of the Law.

From the time data is delivered, both digital and physical, it will be safely held in a secure location with access only restricted to employees who have a legitimate need and authorization to access the information in order to meet the institution’s contractual objectives.

The systems used by Sociedade de Beneficência Humboldt are frequently updated in order to guarantee the protection of the data saved.

By providing data and information to Sociedade de Beneficência Humboldt, the user (guardian of legal age, guardian of a student, student of legal age, senior citizen and employee) is agreeing to this Personal Data Privacy Policy, states that they are aware of it and can freely use the rights given to them by keeping their data updated, guaranteeing the accuracy of the information they provide.

We guarantee the right to change this Policy at any time. We advise you to consult it regularly so that you are always updated.
